Date night in Covent Garden: sushi sets for two
Covent Garden is full of places to eat, but a date night needs a little more: a calmer room, food worth sharing and a table where you can actually talk. Akatuki sits on Great Queen Street, a short walk from the Piazza and away from the busiest crowds.

Each set is priced for the table, not per person.
Something to linger over
If you want a centrepiece, the A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye (150g) at £86.80 is served on a hot stone. Other dishes that suit a slower dinner include Yuzu Saikyo Cod (£28.50), black cod in yuzu and white miso; Scallops Shizuku (£29.50), butter-seared with pesto mayo; and the Wasabi-Infused Lobster (£39.90), a butter-seared half lobster with wasabi and honey sauce.
For something to remember, our Akatuki Roll (£28.90) — purple rice, asparagus, fried prawn, minced crab and gold leaf — is our signature roll.
Before or after a show
We are a few minutes from the Royal Opera House and Theatre Royal Drury Lane, so dinner fits easily around a performance. Mention the time of your show when you book and we will keep the pace right.
