Wagyu hot pot and A5 Wagyu on a hot stone

Guests searching for sukiyaki, shabu-style dining or Japanese hot pot in London often want the same thing: rich broth, premium beef and a shared, slower pace. At Akatuki Covent Garden that sits on the menu as Wagyu hot pot and stone-grilled Wagyu — not a tourist set menu, but dishes built around the meat.

On the à la carte

Exclusive Wagyu Hot Pot (80g) — £39.90 — a single-serve pot with premium Wagyu and seasonal vegetables. For a larger celebration plate, the A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye (150g) at £86.80 is served on a hot stone so the fat renders as you eat. Lighter Wagyu moments include Grilled Wagyu Nigiri, the Wagyu Ebi Roll and Black Truffle Wagyu Fried Rice.
